Heatstore™ tile backer boards
Heatstore™ Underfloor heating tile backer boards are 1200mm x 600mm and are supplied in both 6mm and 10mm
Each board covers an area of 0.72m2 and we recommend that 10% is allowed for the cutting waste, the chart opposite will help you determine how many boards you require.
They are not to be used with underwood heating because they are too hard but they are perfect for undertile heating and can be used as a substitute for plywood. They are perfect for wet rooms and can be used in place of plasterboard on walls.
For example, if you need to insulate an area of 8m2.
8 / 0.72 = 11.11 boards but we would recommend 13 boards to allow for cutting

HeatStore™ XPS Premium boards
Heatstore™ Underfloor heating XPS Premium boards are 1200mm x 600mm and are supplied in both 6mm and 10mm. These are a budget option when installing beneath undertile kits.
Each board covers an area of 0.72m2 and we recommend that 10% is allowed for the cutting waste, the chart opposite will help you determine how many boards you require.
XPS Premium boards are suitable for use with underwood and undertile heating.
Using our chart, you can establish how many boards you require
For example, if you need to insulate an area of 8m2.
8 / 0.72 = 11.11 boards but we would recommend 13 boards to allow for cutting
HeatStore™ XPS Standard boards
Heatstore™ Underfloor heating XPS Standard boards are 1200mm x 000mm and are 6mm thick. They are a budget option for our Underwood Heating System and even work as a fantastic low cost underlay even if your not laying underfloor heating.
Each sheet covers an area of 0.72m2 and we recommend that 10% is allowed for the cutting waste.
For example, if you're area is 14m2 then you require a 20m2 pack
if you're area is 8m2 you require a 10m2 pack
