Underfloor Heating Insulations

Heatstore Tile

Backer Boards

Heatstore Tile Backer boards are high quality, reinforced polymer coated underfloor heating insulation boards suitable for mounting onto concrete/screeded and timber floors, they can be used for under - tile/carpet/vinyl floors, they are not suitable for use with our underwood systems.

Blueboard

Blueboard is our economy insulation board specificaly designed for use with underfloor heating mat systems on concrete/screeded and timber floors. This is also used as our high quality insulation for our underwood heating systems

Depron

Depron is our standard underwood heating insulation, it can be installed onto concrete/screeded or wooden floors

Thermacoat

Therma-Coat is a thermal primer for underfloor heating systems and is recommended for use in areas where the increase in floor height associated with thermal backing board is simply not possible, this can not be used as an alternative to blueboard or depron for underwood heating

Insulation should be considered an integral part of your underfloor heating system. If the sub floor you are laying your system on to does not have insulation beneath, it will be necessary to provide insulation directly beneath the heating system to ensure manageable heat up times and to minimise running costs.

We offer a number of cost effective underfloor heating insulation options to enable correct insulation beneath your heated floor, please note that underwood heating must have either blueboard or depron installed directly beneath it
