Living room heating

As the lounge is usally the largest room in the house it makes sense to install underfloor heating under your chosen floor covering, whatever style you want, from carpet or tiles to laminate or engineered woods, we have an underfloor heating system suitable.

If you would like to use underfloor heating heating as your main primary source of heating then you must follow a few basic guidelines, always cover at least 85-90% of your free floor space and always use a good quality floor insulation board, we reccomend using either our Heatstore xps boards or our Heatstore tile backer boards.

When working out the size of the kit you require it is always best to remove any fixed appliances like bookcases or units that dont have any air flow beneath them as they will only trap the heat rising and could potentially damage the heating cables.

Installing underfloor heating in your Living room or lounge is easy and cost effective.

Whether you decided on tiles, vinyl, carpet or wooden flooring underfloor heating can be installed with ease and at a cost much less than you would think! Without radiators taking up space your living room will seem more open and inviting and you will enjoy the luxurious feel of radiant heat rising from your floor.

We have different underfloor heating systems for all flooring type ranging from 100w per meter electric heating mats for taking the chill off tiles,to 150w per meter underfloor heating which can to used as a primary heating source under tiles, vinyl or carpet to 200w per meter underfloor heating mats (our most powerfull system) which can be used in conservatories or other areas which require fast warm up times. We also stock under laminate (underwood) systems which are suitable for laminate, engineered wood or solid wood floors.
