100w/m2 underfloor heating mats provide a highly economical floor warming system and are used to cover larger areas (up to 30m2 from one controller)

100w/m2 are not suitable as a primary heating source, only to be used as secondary heating

150w/m2 underfloor heating mats are suitable as a primary heating source providing you have adequate insulation

These are our most commonly used mats for kitchens, dining rooms, large bathrooms and most other areas

200w/m2 underfloor heating mats are generally used in areas where high heat loss is a problem, such as conservatories

When used in standard installations heat up times will be approx

25% faster than with standard 150w/m2 mats

Electric Underfloor Heating Mats

Our heating mats are quick and easy to install, making them the ideal choice for your new electric underfloor heating sytem. The mat has the cables set at the factory pre set spacings , ensuring the heat is distrubuted evenly throughout the tiled floor. The matting can be easily cut to fit any room and navigate around fixed obstacles, such as center island- units etc

Where any under floor heating system is installed, the heat energy will travel in both directions; down as well as up. Cement floors act as a heat sink absorbing the energy from your heating system, we always recomend you use our insulation boards directly beneath our heating mats this will significantly improve the performance of your floor heating system and save you money on wasted warm up times.

Our underfloor heating Kits contain a 230V teflon coated heating mat, The Aube TH132-F programmable digital thermostat as standard with floor temperature probe and conduit housing, floor primers and applicator, we are currently offering a free upgrade to the Acmelec remote control thermostat which has the option of switching between Air/Floor/Air + Floor settings

Underfloor Heating mat cables are 3mm diameter twin wire and earth screened, cables are securly attached to the 500mm wide nylon mesh which is fitted with high tac adhesive tapes to enable accurate positioning and fixing of the mats prior to tiling.

Thermostats

Controlling your underfloor heating system couldnt be easier, you can set the temprature to within 1° C. All thermostats have 4 on/off settings within any 24 hour period, allowing complete control of the underfloor heating system to suit your lifestyle, all thermostats come with a floor probe.
