TV expert to talk underfloor heating

Visitors to the London Homebuilding and Renovating Show at ExCel centre will be able to enjoy a series of masterclasses hosted by BBC2’s Sian Astley.

Host of the BBC2 television program “Your Home Made Perfect”, Sian Astley will be working alongside property renovator Jo Dyson to look at ways to cost effectively renovate projects, and how installing underfloor heating and insulation can reduce the cost of running a home.

The show is targeted at self builders and renovators who want to learn from master builders and other experts on the best way to construct and renovate residential property. There will also be a number of exhibitors at the show demonstrating their latest products and services that can improve homes.

A major concern when building or renovating homes is the cost of energy to run the home. Many attendees are seeking advice on alternative energy and the best ways to heat homes. Underfloor heating powered by heat pumps, solar panels or wind turbines is an efficient and low-cost way to heat a home. Many home builders and renovators have sufficient skills to install underfloor heating systems themselves or they can use professional installers to fit them. One-on-one consultations can be booked at the show to ask experts questions about underfloor heating or any other way to improve the home.

The Homebuilding and Renovation show will be in London from October 4th to 6th and will also visit Edinburgh, Harrogate Somerset, Birmingham, Glasgow and Surrey in 2019 and 2020.
