ProWarm Additional Floor Probe or Remote Air Sensor

The ProWarm Additional Floor Probe or Remote Air Sensor is an essential component designed for use with all of our digital thermostats, providing accurate and reliable temperature sensing for your underfloor heating system.

Prowarm's IQ thermostats come with a single probe in the box and an air temperature sensor built into the thermostat. Depending on set up, you can use this 10k calibrated resistor temperature sensor as either a backup floor temperature sensor or a remote air temperature sensor.

If set up as a spare floor temp sensor

Many installers fit an extra temperature probe as a “future-ready” extra. If the sensor ever needs replacing years down the line, you can switch to the spare without lifting tiles or cutting into the floor: saving time, mess, and call-out costs.

This can let you get the most from your Prowarm 25 year warranty on the heating cable without ever having to re-lay the floor covering.

If set up as a remote air temp sensor

The Remote Air Sensor allows for the thermostat to be placed outside of the room that you're heating but accurately show and react to the temperature inside the room - Great for a bathroom with no dry zones! For a wetroom or water resistant placement, check out this stainless steel probe.
