Measuring guide

How to calculate your floor area

Measure the room’s internal length and width in metres, then multiply them together.

Length × width = floor area
For example: 4m × 3m = 12m²

For an L-shaped or irregular room, divide it into simple rectangles, calculate each area, then add the results together.
