John Guest Pre Built Packs are designed for well-insulated areas and are controlled by a single thermostat. Each pack is intended to cover a specific area in square meters when the pipe is spaced 200mm apart.

This spacing is suitable for well-insulated areas. For less well-insulated areas, we recommend our high-output systems.

Please Note: John Guest Water Underfloor Heating kits feature water temperature control, which is crucial for efficient operation. John Guest uses only high-quality Polybutylene pipe.

Below are examples of products that could comprise your JG underfloor heating pack:

• Single Room Control Unit

  The Speedfit Underfloor Heating Control Unit is ideal for heating a conservatory or room extension up to 30m². The unit is pre-assembled and pre-wired for quick and simple installation, and it can be plugged into any convenient electrical socket or spur.

  The Control Unit features integral ball valves for isolation from the primary heating system, an adjustable blending valve, and a six-meter head circulation pump. An anti-vibration mounting bracket ensures silent operation. Speedfit push-fit connections make for a fast and easy connection to pipework.

  Speedfit recommends connecting to the main central heating flow and return distribution system, though it is also possible to connect to the nearest radiator supply pipe. Note that if connected to an existing radiator circuit, the pump will not operate independently and will only obtain hot water when the radiator system is on.

• Barrier Pipe

  JG Layflat pipe, made from Polybutylene, is ideal for laying underfloor heating pipe circuits. The 15mm pipe features an inner barrier to prevent oxygen ingress and is approved by British Gas for use in vented and sealed central heating systems.

• Programmable Room Thermostat

  The JG Aura 4 in 1 Thermostat provides combined control of underfloor heating, individual radiators, and wireless boiler switching, enabling the simple installation of multi-zone energy-saving systems in new or retrofit projects.

• Pipe Inserts

  Push-fit plastic fittings for connecting plastic and copper pipes.

• Equal Tees and Stem Elbows

  John Guest Speedfit Equal Tees and Stem Elbows are WRAS Approved push-fit plastic fittings for connecting plastic and copper pipes. (Only supplied with 30m² kits)

• Speedfit Floor Clips

  Floor clips screw easily into the insulation to retain 15mm pipe. They are best installed using a fixing tool.
